IISc's 100 yr: Global meet in US

It has been a long waited over due for The brain pool and power house of India "IISc". I am surprised it took 100 years to have first global conference.

Interesting... they should plan something practical, linked to the IISc. For instance, revival and making viable again the Simputer project. --FN

 We need more Indian Institutes of Science's

We Just have one Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore. We sure need more than one Indian Institute of Science at all 4 corners of India.

I think the IIS-Bangalore needs to be complemented by 3 more IIS's in the North, the West and the East.
