In the text, it says some rich are worried of being cheated, some worry about their children and some also talk about greed etc%u2026.
But most of them are not acting responsible; it is said in Bhagavad gita one is born in rich family because of their past life good qualities. Why do you think some are born in very poor families, struggling to get the daily food.
It is the close relatives and friends who can be unsuspectingly dangerous. That is why there is a saying which implies that "Hitha shatru" is more dangerous that "Nija Shatru". You can take certain measures for self protection from known enemies. What would you do with people who are near to you and you never suspect?
You only have something to lose when you have something to lose. Poor folks have very litle to lose because they have little or nothing. Rich folks on the other hand, always have be wary - of everyone, because they have a lot, and so have a lot to lose. That's why they pretty much live only amongst their own kind, frequent pricey hotels, restaurants, clubs etc -there's less chance of being robbed, sued etc - they're all in the same boat. And as the saying "it takes money to make money"? That's why the rich gets richer - they have the money to make more money. There's also the saying "those who need the most, gets the least"? Take a wedding gift: A poor man, who desperately needs it most, gets few and inexpensive gifts, because his peers are poor, while a rich man, who really don't need it, receives expensive gifts anyways, because it's expected - he's rich and his peers are rich. That's life.

Gattu above says Bhagvad Gita implies "one is born in rich family because of their past life good qualities". What do you think Bodh?
My 2 paisa worth: Re. Gita, a noble soul takes bith in a materially or spiritually rich household as per the souls natural disposition, as ordained by God". This sits comfortably with me as I see the rich around me super conservative, ultra orthodox and uber sensitive to the most minor risks. It's boring ... PLAIN BORING ...to be rich in the 21st Century. Speaking from experience of having played both sides against the middle, I have grown to be able to say I could'nt care less...actually once you've been rich...downright impossible to be genuinely poor, yet possible. However, it's more interesting bieng poor when you've already been rich, speaking from experience, because some poet said: The stars shine brighter lying in the gutter. Nowhere to go but up, and for me personlly, every time the unkonw upside came out unimaginably in excess of what I had planned. Trust me, when you've made it, boredom sets in ... you're bound in chains!
