WHEN THIS BODY (AICTE) IS NOT ABLE TO CONTROL ENGG. EDN. ALLOWING MONOPOLISING , SUBSTANDARD, CORRUPTION IN FIELD. THEN WHAT IS USE OF USELESS APPROVEL. 90% NON APPROVED B- SCHOOLS ARE PRODUCEING HIGH QUALITY MANAGERS FOR NATION.
I always had this doubt.. why you need AICTE for regulating the management cources in the country? AICTE should only be for regulating the technical courses. May be the government can establish a separate governing body for regulating the management institutes (apart from the premier B-schools like IIM's and other top 20 schools which can be granted autonomy) and the courses they conduct. If a new body cannot be established, then have a separate wing for AICTE for management related courses alone.By doing this, these institutes does not have to wait too long for getting permission for starting some new courses for which the demand is hogh in the market.(like telecom, retail, hospitality etc)
