(16) Swindle your friends and relatives
What? Surely you must be joking? All great swindlers start here. Ask Ponzi. Unfortunate but true. You are more likely to be swindled by a friend/family than by a complete stranger. Look at your own extended family. Is it a wonder that they all hate each other so much?? and you thought it was because of "personality" conflicts??? Then you are more naive then Britney Spears on vacation (well, they told her it was vacation but it was really rehab! ;)

(17) Two words: Sex sells! Scantilly-clad women (err and men too!) Yes, you'll destroy your reputation but admit it: your reputation was never that great to begin with -- you were and will always be the village idiot..so who cares - You're rich (and enjoying the fringe-benefits)! (See Hugh Hefner for details.)

And of course, the most important and easiest way to become rich...
(18) PUBLISH Books on How to Become Rich!!!!
This one is an age-old, obvious and easy way....Write books, make videos, telling other people how to become rich....never mind if YOU are not. All you have to do is look the part, borrow cash from a relative and -- rent an expensive suit, rent an expensive car and even rent an expensive girlfriend (hey, it all helps!) Show this bullshit image to enough people and your books and videos will fly off the shelves....eventually becoming a self-fullfilling prophecy....your gullible public won't even realize that they have just helped you make a bundle. (i.e. See Donald Trump (he was born rich, lost it and got it back) and a whole host of others.

OK...so go out there and make it happen!!
Enjoy!

The author forgot the following...
by on Apr 14, 2007 06:31 AM  | Hide replies

The author forgot the following tried and true methods for generating wealth:

(12) Start a New Religion (preferably with yourself or a deceased acquaintance as the primary saviour.) Call yourself God and you will be surprised at the number of people who believe you and will be more than happy for you to take all their wordly possessions!

(13) Sell Arms
If saving souls is not your thing, then the other side of the spectrum must be. "Find new ways of mass-murdering people, and they will come."

(14) Get into Politics
If you thought people get into politics to "serve" mankind, you a surely one sabji short of a thali.

(15) Do something blatantly illegal, unethical and fraudulent, or better yet, all three!
Keep about 20% in farway bank accounts. After you get caught, give 20% to lawmakers, 60% back to the public. Spend a few years in jail. And enjoy the fruits waiting for you after your release for "good behavior". (Not the easiest way but tried, tested and true. Hey, no one said it was going to be easy! No you don't have to stoop this low but it sure helps!)
