billionaires

What this billionaire means to us.Their name will fade with the passage of time. The man who was extremely rich became a FAKIR by choice and his name was Gautam Buddha.Even after several century of his death he is remembered with due respect across the globe.Another great person who abandoned his wealth & power was Emperor Ashok.

hmmm are you planning to gift your computer and your house and everything you have to the downtrodden right now and become a fakir? If not then you are not like Gautam Buddha:-) and all that you are saying is false . Money is extremely important in life and a fool and his money are soon parted.Earn, Earn honestly and if you become rich, it's up to you what you do with your money and if you don't earn stop criticizing others. Paisa ped pe nahin ugta kamaana padta hain

if it was ethically earned it's their's and they can do whatever they wish to do with it. If I take you computer and your house and all your belongings away so as to help the downtrodden people in this world, you would call it extortion wouldn't you? If they earn it they have it, and it's up to them what they do with their wealth. They spend the time and money and hardwork to earn that status rather than sitting idly and now if they are rich, it's their money.

instead of getting inspired by these great people a idiot like u states examples of emperor ashok and gautam buddha which is centuries ago

actually the words determination , grit and "against all odds" dont mean much to indians like you( there may be a billion like you) thats why ur ego cannot actually accept the success of these great people

well according to you money is nothing , alright dude pay ur house bills with emotion or respect
if thats not enough pay ur telephone bills and educate ur children by paying for their fees with honour and dignity

We present Indian are not worthy of those great prople's descendents. India nevers understand budhism properly. That is why it vanished from here and spread in rest of the world making them rich in spiritually and economically. Look at Japan,China,Korea etc ... Budhism should come back to India again ...

I know a person who became millionaire three times and went bancrupt three times. He also started from scrath and does not regret his present situation as he knows where he started.

Why are we all talking so much about money when all of us know that this is something which will not help us in leading our way to the heaven or hell so as our deeds will. We should concentrate more on our deeds and less on money.

Not 'WE' friend but Gossip Blogs like Rediff who are more interested in floating such Frivolous Topics because they want to publish self - congratulatory items afterwards - "Rediff Most PoPular Blog", "Rediff Most Widely Recognised Blog" etc. etc. by giving some spurious organisation's Survey Figures as evidence. And to add spice, they will stick 'US' to the organisation's name.

Deeds are important so is money, ask a starving or poor person to do good deeds first and then look for food what do you think should he do first? Well someone can do a good deed and feed the fellow but to do that deed he needs money to buy the food. Money brings independence and Money is extremely important alongside good deeds. Honest hard earned money that is.

Its better to be remembered be it good or bad rather than living sadu life aiming heaven(Which no one knows does it really exist) and not being remembered. Money and work you do with money is one of the ways which can make people remember you.

No one knows who r u(atleast I don't) and who am I, but many know who is Bill Gates/Ambani/Premzi/Donald Trump and lot others.

R they useful to society...just by having the money....yes they do hell lot of charity work which I can't even dream of even earning for myself.

Rich is one side of the story and the social work they do is the other side (They may not spend time but they will help the people who want to spend time)

All the Theresa foundations or many NPO are not possible without help of rich.

When u become rich you will automatically help people around you (Either wishfully/Forcefully to escape taxes) but end of Day you do good to the society and those are the ones who will remember you.

Finally who said all rich are bad for you to talk abt deeds etc., many rich people has gr8 principles in their lives ... Read abt Ratan Tata.

Billionaires make their billions and hundreds or thousands depend on them and earn their living. The billions they made will be left for the rest of us as they cannot carry it! Even if they dont give it, people will get it eventually. It is only a matter of time. Those of us who havent made the billions, let us wait patiently! Dont be jealous of those who do well in whatever they do! Wish them well.

They don't spend time but they donate money and thats why you have So many charity organizations across the world...without money you cannot run a charity organization even if you have enough time.

When you have money you will automatically do charity (Wishfully/"Forcefully to escape taxes"), so you will definately help society.

Tatas provides thousands of jobs, ambanis provide thousands of jobs, helping to build better society...stop blaming what rich are doing and you also start helping the ones below you.

How many times you donated money to any Charity organization.

Knowledge through proper education is always good. I am sure all these billionaries who are school droupouts would definitely regret for not completing their education. Infact, if you ask them whether they would like their kids to have degree/professional qualification, they would definitely say yes because knowledge through education provides them with upperhand to understand the business better.

Earning money through entreprneur skills, becoming billionaries , etc. is always related to one's ability. Here, see the percentage of successful billionaires who are droupouts to the total droupouts of the whole world. Its very less.

I feel that the comparision of education with few billionaries ( who are droup outs ) is meaningless.

U can also have people like Mr.Narayan Moorthy, Mr.Lakshmi Mittal, Mr.Kumaramangalam Birla, etc. who are all well educated and that having busiess skills.

There is some relation about creating wealth and school/college dropout. India's greatest wealth creator Dhirubhai Ambani was also school dropout. It is very difficult to conclusive but I think so called education teaches limitation in all aspect and it reduces risk taking ability of the person, high risk high gain. But it doesn't mean somebody should be foolish while taking the risk, person should be able to catch the nerve of the business and if you are able to do it then degree/education doesn't matter, what we learn from books is practised succesfully by these great people and some time they add new rule to it. We must salute to their innovative ideas and ability to think of future. That is what I want to say.

Rajendra,
According to me education is having knowledge. Knowledge is power which one has with himself throught out his life.

Risk taking, having nerve of the busiess, ability to think of future etc. is the skill of at individual level.I dont think by having education any of your inbuilt skill diminishes. A nation always progresses through literacy. The fact is that u have more crimes and criminals is because they r not educated /school dropouts...u can say they may be unsuccessful in business..having no option...they resort to crimes, etc.

Consider the cases with other developed countries.

Lastly, Dhirubhai Ambani himself though school dropout ensured that his kids got the best education. See, with education they are taking reliance to new level ( global ) alongwith all top class professional working for them.
See now what u say

Dropouts are far lesser than who complete.

To become rich you need financial intelligence....by earning degree in science fromm IIT's and MIT's doesn't make you rich unless you don't have financial education.

They know where to put money and where not, they know what is the level of risk taking...all this things will not be taught in any schools...its the financial IQ which they develop reading different cases and noticing people around them.
