Indian IT companies like Satyam, TCS and Infosys etc should give this a thought
by Nischal Ever on Jun 19, 2007 02:24 PM

Whilst this is rightly linked with the other topic called "Indian IT cos global giants? Not yet" Indian IT companies like Satyam, TCS and Infosys etc should give this aspect a serious thought considering the long run. Offlate the Management practices within these IT companies are going from bad to worse right from managing people internally to managing customer externally resulting in High levels of attrition and growing customer demands. Wake up Biggies before you are counted among the rest as common to have.

Very good article. How can you bring it to the notice of the appropriate people particularly the CEOs of public sector undertakings and the secretaries of the ministries controlling these undertakings? Do you have a mailing list?

Bad karma

When a company is started and run on good principles with a vision, no karma however bad can stop it. But on the whole I agree with most of what is said above and most CEO's are aware of all these even before reading this book. - Serenity from bfsiforums.com

In a mail box like Rediffmail there may be several letters catering to several tastes - like a "Buffet lunch or dinner"...you pick up on your plate, what you want and move on to eat what is in YOUR plate rather than bother about "what is on the table"

Good companies, bad karma

Companies are people driven, largely employees follow the mind-set driven by the people who are at the helm of affairs. Companies shall grow & continue to grow when the old saying is NOT followed 'BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT'. indian set up companies have old bosses at the helm of affairs, they go their own past experience which many-a-times does not stand well today. to summ up ' EVERY EMPLOYEE SHALL HAVE THE FEELING OF OWNERSHIP WHILE WORKING'.
