These CEOs have built the company like their own- except in this case, there is no family holding of majority stock (like Premji or wipro or Infosys or Reliance or Tata). They were hired to build values for shareholders and they all succeeded-500%. SO why not get treated like the owners themselves. The Part-owners cannot even run or rebuild the companies as these new comers did and nobody questions the owners.

Hahahah some idiots are trying to earn referral money %u2026..
If you compare them with their international counterparts. Take the case of Mr. Kamath who has build ICICI bank from nowhere to where it is over the last year. He does not even get a million $ for running a 20 Billion market cap company so effectively. I personally feel there is lot of catching up to do and understand the CEO should be happy and he should feel 100% incentivised for the company to do well.

$20 Billion Mcap is not a big deal. It is the revenues that they earn that must be compared for compensation. $5 billion is not too huge a deal. Compare that with Infosys and Wipro @ 3.5 billion - their execs are not paid extravagantly either. INR - USD comparison without PPP is useless data.
