Google is about search and content where as Apple and MS are product companies. In turn they are all genious . Who else can think that there is a revenue model in internet search.
These guys are geniuses and this the best a human can ever get. Personally , I think Google is a big hype. Their search is excellent but everything else is buggy and mediocre.
May be the whole story of affection betn Steve and Bill is actually a result of google scare. Both of them may come closer in future to fight against Google.

and closed ideas. both companies are known to "protect" through DRM. both are champions of keeping standards closed. open source and open formats are giving these monopolists a scare.

Yeah.. they are creating mess between ODF Vs OOXML.. Hope ODF becomes winner and OpenOffice rules !!
