These Malls are selling Vegetables at a very cheap rate and destroying the business of poor Vegetable vendors. Garib ke Pet Par Laat maar rahe hain !!! They should only sell packed food products so that poor vegetable vendors are not starved to Death

the poor vegetable vendors vajan me kata marta hai aur am admi ko ulu banata hai now atleast the customers get the good product.

If you move all over the city, you will find different prices for the same vegetable / fruits depending on the location. Upmarket location will have higher prices. The malls are coming in these upmarket location. So the bhaiyas need not worry. They will be doomed if a hi-fi mall with cheap veges and fruits come up at Dharavi for e.g. I personally feel that the bhaiyas do a lot of cheating in weight and also charge high profit as compared to wholesale rates. Sometimes it is more than 100%.

It is a fallacy that the malls are selling vegetables at cheap prices. It is charging the same, only difference is the packaging and the environment. Vegetable vendors would not lose too much business b'cos the malls are not located near our houses. Only those vendors doing business near malls would be affected.
On a lighter note, malls are good places to see maals.

Mr. Bhola, Those poor vegetable vendors are just looting other poor people only and they must not be allowed to do so. What is wrong in it? They never pay any income tax, no octroi, no sales tax, no property tax ... no tax ... no tax ... no tax ... and they purchase vegetables very cheap from farmers and sell at very high price to other poors and middle class people. And those vegetable vendors must not allow to loot others. They have looted farmers and non farmer people. They must not be allowed. Yes, I will be one of the crores people who will be very happy to get cheap vegetables... let the looters die themselves Or, they must sell cheap...
