Rail Budget

Congratulations for excellent budget as far as fares are concerned, however there is no relief for suburban train travel in Mumbai. Every day more thanhalf the mumbai population avils the local train facility, but day by day travelling by local train is extremely difficuilt. The basic facilities like toilets, urinals ,drinking water, cleanliness etc are worst. Just by displying hordings and making announcement is not going to solve the problem. Half the mumbai population is using rail lines as a toilets. There is no change in the situation after 58 years of independence.

Dear Laluji,

Many congrats for presenting a pro-public budget. I'll not say pro-poor bcoz people in our country have been made poorer by the wrong decisions of all govts in the past and even today. The value for money has reduced and therefore we say we have become poor.

Secondly, Laluji has not given any specific incentive for Mumbai Suburban travellers. I will request the Hon'ble minister to look into the possibility of handshake with Big corporates who can manage the stations at Mumbai more efficiently and effectively which will ensure:-

a) More amenities at stations

b) More accountability

c) Less headache for railway minister/ ministry

d) Overall bonanza for the traveller.

Overall, a impressive budget for which I behalf of all my fellow country thank Mr Railway Minister.

Jai Hind!!
