Let there be few more people like shiela and Ajay in the political ring where you have the most refined form of corruption. At the outset I wish that this corruption should go, babudom should go and some practically real people should come. We are Indians we should not compare India with any other country as it is "ATULYA BHARAT" where you find us at the top of the list for some of the most worst conditions isn't it? Delhi is full of litrate people and is the capital of India and where our honrable parliament is located which holds 80% of corrupt and criminal politicians and we proudly say "MERI DELHI" Or in fact say "MERA BHARAT MAHAN"
Problems with delhi to look to 2021 1. power 2. Roads 3. Transport 4. Hospitals(not like AIIMS which is crippled and equipments worth million rupees lying redundant) 5. Basic amenities
So dear friends to make Delhi a world class city by 2021 we need at least non-corrupt and functional body and at least 10 Ajay maken and 10 Shiela Dixits.
Ajay Maken, Shila Dixit have done Delhi from their heart...personal sacrifice...emotional and spiritual investment. I cannot think of any two City politicians worldwide who have lost so much personally yet given back as much to their cities. Maken lost his near family and Sheila her husband.
I thing, Delhi should aim to be the gold standard middle class city of India. Don't pander to either the poor or the rich! And for God's sake induce some privatisation...in water, sewer, traffic mgmt. as is happening. Why build electric palnts and sewer plants...Delhi is rich enough to export-import, no? And isn't it better to pay more for water than pay less and get NONE!
Talk about this after 2021. Unless and untill infrastructure is developed, nothing can be achieved. Wait and watch.. it will be another failure at the cost of diplacing poors and filling the pockets of the riches.
Not talking about resources to implement the Master Plan. Delhi is dependant on other states for water and electricity. Where is the area earmarked in the master plan for providing three separate 10 hectare pieces of land to set up 300 mw power plants. Why are they delaying in setting up Power plants in Delhi? If Singapore and Munich can provide 24 hour water supply. What is present Delhi Jal board doing? When are they going to implement this after 2021?
i think this idea of making a new delhi or a better delhi is just excellent it should be done troughout the country as it is very much required to bring our country to the standatds of a grown country from a growing country

Ajay Maken is a very efficient Minister . We all need to support him . He almost single handedly manage to implement the Supremen Court Order of CNG enforcement in Busses/Auto's in Delhi . We need more such people who are the DOers and Go getters .
