what he has done is perfect, there needs to be a limit to whats shown on TV.
Its just a matter of time people will become passive and show zero tolerance to brazen nudity being aired everyday, be it in form of sizzling MMS reporting, dirty double meaning advertisements, raunchy hindi-punjabi vidoes, really shows and adult rated bollywood movies being aired at prime time without any cuts !!!!!
I wonder why we dont have any regulation for content being shown on TV, goverment issues notices to these channels but when they dont heed to, then government is forced to take a high-handed action agianst them
I am happy AXN is out for sometime (though some programs are very good and knowlegeable), for rest channels, its a warning, if they dont mend their ways quickly, they should also be axed and quantum of punishment shoyld be higher than that issued to AXN
Good Luck

PD Munshi's intent may be well intentioned, but approach is hamhanded. Before cable arrived, there were plenty of publications that carried oomphy pictures, say Debonair, and Bollywood did have ram tere ganga Mandakini doing her thing and Zeenat Aman hers, and nobody bothered, but were rather benevolent in their tolerance. It's suddenly now we become puritanical and zealots about such things. Ours is a democracy and society has moved on over the decades, so if you dont like it, reach for the remote and lock the parental lock for children and squeamish adults too who can't bear to watch. As for me and others of my ilk, we will just go with the flow.
