Guys
We need to understand that there will certain shortfalls & cost saving ideas in every organization without which they can%u2019t run business in this highly competitive scenario.
When you compare other Organizations they don%u2019t even give second thought while firing Employees. Where as Tata organizations are most secured Employers.
Sincere request before Commenting think Twice,
you know what Tata%u2019s have contributed so many job opportunities to the nation.
FYI Tata's are the India's largest employer in the private sector.

You would see many message about tata not being good paymasters. But there are 100 good reasons to work with a tata company and many people do not leave the house of tatas for these 100 others reasons rather than the pay.

They surely are the best group in india seconded by aditya birla group

Tata's are India's pride
by Natesh on Dec 21, 2007 11:10 AM

I know many people disagree with me. Though i am not working for any Tata group i am great admirer of this company. They were the first to start an Airline in our country before Nehru nationalized and made it Air India (the worst service provider in India now). Had Air India not been nationalized it would be the world's best airline now. Many people are concerned about traffic, pollution, safety (list is endless) about the 1 lakh car. In India many families have 2 or 3 bikes, now they can afford 1 car. A man riding a bike carrying a wife, 2 kids are more dangerous on the roads than a car carrying a family. Two wheeler traffic is becoming unmanagable in city roads since we dont have any lane system(talkin about manjority of Indian cities). Its true our energy requirements will be more now. Imagine many small vendors (builders, carpenters, shop keepers, plumbers, electricians, vegetable vendors) carrying too many things on a bike which is more dangerous now they can carry it on in the 1 lakh car. Tatas have generated a million jobs in the country which is feeding 3 or 4 million people indirectly. They have bought Corus, Tetley Tea, US coffee makers, Daewood, (now Land rover), many IT companies in Latin America. Mr. Ratan Tata we salute you with great pride. Spread your wings and create more jobs and wealth. JRD Tata will be truely proud of you

Whither transparency Karnataka ?
by SS Kumar on Dec 21, 2007 10:37 AM

Two news items, contrasting ones, appeared at the same time. While the Tata group wins recognition for its transparency, the Karnataka Government is unable to explain as to where the Rs. 600 Cr. money collected thro' a one rupee cess on fuel sale within the state, over the last 12 years went. Considering the fact that money deposited in the Banks doubles roughly every 5 years, this local government is sitting on Rs. 1200 Cr. of public money without the delivering the monorail transportation system for over a decade. Since this state is under President's rule at present, should not the Governer refund vehicle owners at
Rs. 2 for every litre of fuel purchased for the next 12 years besides immediately scrapping off the Re. 1 cess on the current price of fuel ?
Does transparency belong only to private sector ? Will some credible organization take up this issue immediately ? On top of this, this Govern- ment wants to levy Rs.600 levy on every flier trying to use the new airport sans an approach
road !! Is there no end to this looting ?

And we all know who is the largest shareholder. So basically unlike other companies where employees get their fair share, here it goes to we know who. Three cheers for the social responsibility

tatas are not the best
by surinder garg on Dec 21, 2007 08:14 AM  | Hide replies

The credit for transparency should go to Haryana PWD( B&R). This organisation is so transparent that it did not pay our 35 payments as we did not give bribes. They are sitting on these payments and openly telling us to go to Supreme Court but they will not pay without bribes. These cockcroaches promoted by indian govt and leftists, pampered by union walas are responsible for our blood sucking and then govt wants us to love our country.
Let people know that Tatas were insulted by Pandit Nehru and these leftists as blood suckers. Tatas are the torch bearers of entrepreneurship and small entrepreneurs like us get the courage to fight state terr*orism as Tata exists.
Can anybody hit these Patloon Wale Dakus (PWD) and throw them in Arabian sea.

Yes, it is just a marketing gimmick. They twist and mis-represent statistics.

A good and easy way for anyone to earn big money would be to sue them and then settle for out of court settlement...!
