After guzzling several thousand litres of a variety of brands - Carslberg, Heinkenen, Budweiser, Tiger, Fosters, Corona, San Miguel, etc etc etc, I find that the best one is manufactured right in India and the winner is KINGFISHER! Dear Indian beer drinkers, dont get swayed by the imported brands. Stay loyal with KF because it is the best!

Perfectly true...I have seen tons of western guys talking about KF Light and many prefer to booze KF if they are some where close to India region...even Australian cricket team is preferring to drink n drunk KF light beer even during matches...I have seen this in one of the party....International brands are good in bottle quality than the drink to be frank....there is a beer from Thailand "Chang" which is carbon copy to KF...also tastes good...I belive Chang copied KF top to bottom....net net KF is the King of all beers and can drink any time

beer in India

In India the beer can be sold lesser than the thums up or Coco Cola. Why Indian Government put too much taxes. Industrialists too taking the advantage of the governments. Let us see In Oversees many beer manufacturing countries the price of the beer is lower than the soft drink cost. in India 10 times more. The reason is the domestic beer is popular & competent to export overseas and can earn more money to India. For instance you take in India Sugar cane farmers are suiciding in Maharashtra & Andhra. Remunarative price demanded by the farmers. Sugar cane Industries can give more than remunarative price if the governments allow to do the distallary & sell on their own, Than the whisky & hard liquar can be sold 10 times lesser than the present price. On exports massively all countries it can be offered at 1/10of the price & Indian economy can be with too much foregn reserve. Why our Finance minister not able to think on that way. Fm policies are giving the fruits to the poor people or majority of the population. ie service tax & others taxes which is harming a common man being imposed & reduced the buying power of a comman man. This FM should be punished for destabilised & inequalities were too much variation. unless the legislation was bought on FM's if they don't perform well should be punished severely even capital punishment should be given like such in China.

i dont think price reduction will increase domestic consumption manifold. it is also linked to social situations and not just the price. availability is also an issue, sell it like cold drinks at pan wala and beer will sell more. also raise awareness about responsibly handling alcohol and not be wasted after consuming it

Correct Prem India considers Beer as alcholic drink that is why it is costly Many countries classify Beer as food item You are able to pick it up in supermarkets
