CIDCO we make scams
by sanjay on Mar 31, 2010 01:24 PM

Be carefull when you buy property from CIDCO, CIDCO has a habit of cheating/playing farud on buyers by manipulating the area. For example a 1000 sq feet carpet Module will be sold as 2000 sq feet in 1998 and as 1300 sq feet in 2004 all on the whims and fancies of the CIDCO.

Govt. of Maharashtra has floated CIDCO (City Industrial Development Corporation)
A State Govt. undertaking which is the most Corrupt undertaking of the Govt.of Maharashtra. Instead of being a agency for providing housing to the middle and lower class at reasonable rates it encourages price escalation for the benefit of few builders and
Bureaucrats.

Some of the Shady Deals of CIDCO include

Allotment of land under the 12.5% scheme to fictitious Companies, polictians.

Change of reservation of plots for commercial use

Systematic Destruction Of mangroves and reclaiming land and blatant violation of CRZ Rules.

Railway Station Complex Scam
The station complex Built By CIDCO at Nerul , Vashi, CBD. The commercial areas was sold in the open market as carpet area ( 95-150 ) % loading in 96-98 at much higher rates. In the year 2004 The same commercial premises were sold as carpet area 30% Loading to friends and relatives and front men Mktg dept of CIDCO at a discounted price. Imagine built up area of two adjacent offices of same area are different.

Extra FSI to CIDCO directors Housing Society
Prathamesh society where the Directors of CIDCO was allotted prime property at throw Aw

RIL's Mumbai SEZ
by Surendra Birje on Aug 21, 2007 02:45 AM

In a Democracy, the Government is "For The People" (other than of the people , by the people). It should act as a coordinating body to get the best price for the farmers and coordinate the sale in the best long term interest of the farmers. It should not make money out of the deals. The purchase price should be related to the sale price which should in turn be related to the the profits likely to be made by the final purchasing party (Reliance in this case). Ideally the SEZs should be developed in remote areas so that the infrastructure also develops appropriately. If Reliance is going to make Crores out of the deal, the Government should ensure that the farmers should also get a fair percentage of the crores. The land should be put to immediate use for the purpose it is acquired and should not result in buying the land by the rich only because they have money to invest and wait for the right opportunity to sell it at huge profits later on. Such profits should also be passed on to the original farmers from time to time with each sale. The farmers should also be given a fair share of the developed land in the same area for their personal use once the area is developed and in no way should they be displaced. This is the way we can grow as a country taking care of all the citizens.

Industrielists can also consider developing thousands of acres of barren land for farming and then providing a percentage of the profits to the farmers for the agricultural output from this land.

These so-caled champions of the poor are in it for the power- it gives them leverge, and leverage translates into moolah, oodles and oodles of it.

all of u may read last year news that reliance has purchase 5 acre land in bandra kurla complex for Rs. 1500 crore rupees. but in sez of mahamumbai he want 25000 acre land for just 2500 crore. sez means land grab. long before ago cidco cheat farmers in panvel uran by purchasing there land for for 15000 rupees per acre.then cidco sold it to builders & builders are selling it at the rate of Rs. 150 crore per acre. cidco acquire 1 lakh acre land at that for just 200 crore & now just before 30 yeare later the only 2acres in the same area costs rs,.200 crores . what a democracy. this is not democracy of common man but of crazy & greedy politicinas.

reliance mahamumbai
by Prashant Mhatre on Aug 21, 2007 01:22 AM

mahamumbai sez is only in favour of reliance. he want to purchase land at low cost (Rs. 10 lacs) & will sale it at the rate of Rs.100 crore per acre. & goverment is acting as broker. or dalal.there is lots of land with mide & cidco acquire from farmers at low cost.later on midc sold this land to industrilist & builders. now industrilist & builders are making crores on the same land.there is no control of goverment on land price in case if the land is in builders custody. but for farmers land goverment deciding land price. because most of policians are builders & vice - versa.

Mahmumbai SEZ Reliance
by sameer on Aug 20, 2007 11:32 PM

Reliance is fooling the poor farmers and purchasing the land from them at very low price. Mahamumbai zone is industrially developed area and there is no need of SEZ in this area. It is the farmers land and the farmers should be benefited most not Reliance.Relaice with the help of some local leaders and political parties is trying to fool the people here but they must realize is a himalayan blunder for them.
