The person who has written this article has criminal mind and is indirectly instigating public the wrong path.

Using pirated software is like licking garbage.

If you cannot buy legal softwares, use open source softwares.

Cost is High

Since Windows versions are costing very high, Middle level Firms, Small Firms, Home users are going for pirated one, which is freely available in the market and also online. MS can overcome this problem by further reducing the price of their products.

MS will not stop at making things cheap. the way to go is to open standards. micrososft's primary cash cow is windows and MS office. and they will not any open standards there. thats an unfair monopoly, and government are doing nothing against it. people dont have a choice, and people are forced to use only one software.

microsoft is closed source, while linux is open source. the linux code has been carefully analysed and they found 238 patents being infringed. open source in the meanwhile has not bothered abt software patents, they have made countless innovations without claiming patents on them, but releasing them under the GPL license, software companies like microsoft would have "stolen"/ "infringed" on these intellectual property no doubt. they have thier source closed, so we dont know how many technologies they have stolen in thier OS. they are not on holy grounds.
