Cherry is a copy of Chevy Sapark or former Daewoo Matiz
by Aditya Datar on Apr 30, 2007 08:16 PM

Dear viewers Cherry is a cut copy paste version of the Daewoo Matiz or now called the Chevy Spark after Genral Motors aquired Daewoo Motors.

Cherry is a perfect example what we in India frequently see for Electronics, TV's Audio systems which read Sonee instead of Sony and Pentasonics instaad of Panasonic. thats for only as a reflective example.

Dear readers stay away from any copies or spurious remakes of originals. Buy originals only please...!!!

improve the roads first
by Supriyo on Apr 30, 2007 11:49 AM

Instead of rejoicing about big international car makers launching in india, we should raise our concern about bad raod conditions in india first.

Total length of roads anywhere in any City/town in india are far from adequate to support the load of traffic it has to bear. And anticipating the kind of growth in number of vehicles these ventures will result in, I fear complete breakdown of traffic system in future if roads are not improved.

What country is North-East
by Kamsten Yangte on Apr 30, 2007 10:52 AM  | Hide replies

North East(India??) is a very neglected region.
No PM, President, FM or even HM from this region since Independence.
No development in this region
People of this region do not even look like Indians.
North East does not like cricket and NE people are mistaken as Chinese when they visit other parts of india.
I doubt any of the readers can tell the state capitals of Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura but of AP, TN and Karnataka they will have no problem.
So ask yourself if NE is not alienated? Can you blame the people of the NE if they become violent against the Indian establishment?
Ask yourself, as even the media coverage of this region is negligible.
Has rediff or any other Indian website covering NE adequately?
Anyway, most probably nobody of you is bothered other than the silly game of cricket.

Thanks,
Kamsten

Hi Kamsten. Its not like that ... Manipur-Imphal, Mizoram-Aizawal, Tripura-Agartala .. I am from North but I did not had to search for these capitals on Internet, I know them and like me, millions of Indians know how important North-East is .. You are as integral part of India as others .. I agree with you Govt has not done enough for North-East, this is time Govt should focus to develop the most culturally-rich part of India ..

Hey Kamsten. As long as we are Indian's nothing else matters. I believe every state is represented my MP's in our parliament and if no growth happens there it might be more due to the efficiency of the people whom you voted into power. There are states like Kashmir, Bihar etc which hasn't seen development in a long while even in the North-west because of the infighting and other factors. Most of these states if you see like Karnataka, AP didn't grow with the center's help but their own govt's had growth initiatives which were inturn supported by the central govt. That should be the case with you too.

I can tell you reasons
1) No of MP seats.
2) All of them are christians, follow western values, They despise the Indian values.

3) I know there are lot of tribal people who follow the kind of Open Hindu traditions. But unfortunately they are not in limelight.

4) Typical educated NE people are Christians. They show the wrong picture outside world.

Now tell me why the rest of India should mind you?
