I need to know if this is the right time to buy an apartment or will there be a correction and by when should i buy or should i buy at all or not as this is purely for investment

most of our politicians are builders by profession/business. so they may not allow the prices to fall. secondly no policy has been framed by govt to provide cheap housing to the poor and middle class, Chidambaram has only been crying about the rise in inflation , but he fails to understand how can services , vegetables etc be cheap if one has to pay Rs 50 lac in the metros for a simple 2 BHK flat. what does he think that the vegetable vendors will still keep selling his goods for 3 Rs a Kg or a service provider will still provide his services cheap .Chidamabarm has made no sincere effort till date to reign in property prices. All what he is done is show baazi.Form a National Housing board provide decent housing of 1200 sq feet at the rate of Rs 12-15 lakhs in all metros which is possible , inflation will come down.the midlle class and lower class will get a life else their entire months income goes into a EMI, India will be a on growth trajectory which others will find difficult to catch up . Please dont keep only the builder intrest in mind, rising property rates will give you a jolt in Next Elections maybe after the next elections you will have so much time that you can join the boarders here.

hi I want 2 buy a plot from a private person in the above location at a premium of Rs.1500/ per sq.yds.booking price is rs7200/ per sq.yds.Plot is situated in block A near nh24.Pls advise whether i should purchase it or not?

Guys,
I want to buy a flat in JP Nagar 5th phase, (puttenahalli), Bangalore. Buikder is quoting 2300 per sft, for a double bed flat in the top (third) floor. Is that a right price to buy now? Facilities wise it is a good flat.

2300 is a good price..but as u know the rates are falling ..it is always worth to invest in a flat which is well connected with roads/bus facility/parks/good schools. Please do survey not only on the price and other factors also so that will help to sell your flat (in case).

The best way to control prices is to crack down on black money that has for long entered this market.Salaried people are forced to participate.

Yes exactly, black money is the root cause for the rise in prices. Countries like UK never see this kind of bubble simply because everything is white there. Its hard to believe that people in Mumbai are finding it hard to buy a 1 BHK. I have been following real estate keenly since jan 06 and I notice prices are going higher than coming down. Ok lets assume its going to come down, but the question is by how much? Definitely not by 50-60%. At the most by 10 or maximum 20%. So prices soared by alomost 70-80% and now they are coming down by 20%. So in a lose-lose situation any ways. It took me a year to find a 1 BHK in Mumbai city for 44 lacs. I imagine what other people are going through. Your comments Mr Zia/Miss Hillary. ABG
