Trying to sell ULIP
by Prashant on Oct 24, 2006 08:56 PM

Well could you also mention the Company for which you are promoting the ULIP plan. PPF is the best and safest Investments i believe..... A mere contribution of 5000 every month might fetch 1 crore after 33.6 years on a compounded basis.

A REALISTIC APPROACH
by smaranika on Sep 29, 2006 04:49 PM

Hey,thank you. I really liked the well-coordinated article. It actualy prescribed the tools to sustain the CROREPATI status in a very technical manner.'Investment in Gold' is realy a rocking example.

Another factor too
by Vinay on Sep 24, 2006 06:14 PM

Another consideration should be:

1. What kind of tax rebates can we get from the investment. Let us not forget that tax rebates is a free investment made by Govt and the compounding works in our favour.

2. Flexibility in investments i.e. is it mandatory to contribute in terms of timing and amount or can the investment be done as and when we want to and that too at a level we want too.

and then look at the overall picture. Thanks!

The tables need to made more simple, with perhaps some examples of how it has been worked out,- so that a layman into the world of finance could understand it.

Pro:

I esp liked the quick comparison in tables.

Con:

* Investment in Gold and Silver was not discussed.

* The tables could be made easier to read.
