But what about quality ?

And what about quality? Yhis article doesn't talk about the quality provided by the in-house products. Are they up to the mark ? Are they cost-effective? Do they provide value for money ? My personal experience with HyperCiti has been extermely poor. Their inhouse brand is a total disgrace!!

Hi,
to comment upon the quality of in house brands i would say that i dont know about hypercity but internationally the quality of in house products of these retail chains can be matched to the quality of any other good brand in the category. There is value for money pricing as the retailer saves on the advertising and marketing costs and passes on that benefit to the consumers.
One of the brand doing this is Tesco and hope that it would do the same when it comes to India.

Moreover you know these chains have a repute in the international markets and consumers trust them and their products and hence they wont let their image go down by offering low quality products.
