It is rediculous to say that Nooyi is more powerful than Sonia. Sonia can influence the lifes of 130 Crore Indians. Nooyi can in no way be powerful than Sonia.

Astonishing how such sheer ignorance & carelessness can find its way to a top Business Magazine; it only shows that we make ourselves a bunch of fools by paying too much attention to Forbes & its like.
Forbes has listed her as a U.S citizen. May be she holds dual citizenship. In my humble opinion we shoud be proud of people who have scaled great heights being an Indian citizen. This is not to discount the likes of Nooyi.

You cannot understand people like Amma. As far as you are concerned Salary and Material Possessions are the criteria of power rather than compassion and spirituality. You dont have the mental capacity to recognise personalities like Amma.
We have more and more people like you in the media, politics,financial sectors who are hypocrites. No one can transform your mindset.
But Amma is transforming the world in a silent way. As a true master of Bharat she never cares for any recognition or criticism. She continues her work like a serene everflowing river.
I felt morally indignated seeing the farce of the modern world. That is why I expressed my concern.
What is the criteria of selecting powerful women??
I wonder I dont find the name of MATA AMRITANANDAMAYI, better knows as AMMA who is doing marvellous job in spreading the message of love and the need for RELIGIOUS tolerence and world peace.
Within 54 years of her life and through 20 years of World itinerary MATAJI has touched the lives of millions and millions of people across the world and has shown the world how to organize successful humanitarian projects. United Nations has selected Amma's organisation as one of the volunteers in UN's Initiatives.
Are the media blind?? Are the selectors Blind?? Or is it sheer hypocrisy.
If the world could imbibe the teachings of Amma and put it into practice we will have a brave, new, peaceful world.
In imy opinion MATA AMRITANANDAMAYI should be given the first place as the most powerful women in the right sense of empowerment of Women.

There are simply no teachings of amma nothing to learn and imbibe ; no wonder she has been unable to make Kerala , INDIA or the world better place to live . She has risen to this peak only thru beggary charity and donations while INDIRA NOOYI personally ,hard -work and salary :please there can be no comparison at all.
This ratings seems ridiculous. Sonia Gandhi is a leader who influences lives of over a billion people. On no account can Indra Nooyi be more powerful than her.

Please do not mind Sonia Gandhi's ranking because one billion people with low rate of foreign currency exchange rate does not count but a M.N.C with international cross-country business having profits and turnover more than G.D.P of several country's does count and will keep on counting as the real truth and factual position.
My My! This is laughable. Forbes is a joke. I can't believe they actually printed that crap about Sonia Gandhi. If they don't know who Sonia gandhi is how can they have her at 13th place. If they can't get that much right then i don't really care much about their ranking, its bullcrap according to me. Laughable.
