i effected two policies on my house in the leafy suburb of Hilltop. The policy with Insurer A was originally taken out many years ago and the replacement value is listed as $150,000. The policy with Insurer B was taken out 6 months ago and the replacement value is listed as $250,000. Insurer A also has an exclusion in their policy denying liability if the insured is insured with another insurer for the same subject matter. The property is totally destroyed in the recent summer bushfires. How much will each insurer have to indemnify me?
