The scheme introduced by the Government is good. Besides providing employment to many unemployed, it reduces (for better)the role of Chartered Accountants who charge astronomical fees for filling the Returns. The claim of CAs that they only can do the job is false as anyone with a few days of training can do it. The Government should not shelve the good scheme merely because of opposition from the CAs. If required, the training period may be increased to say, one month or three months instead of the present nine days. I hope the new scheme attracts many youth.
