It seems the Wii achieved what it was designed for! I'm very happy to read this. As a long time gamer this gives me hope there are people who are still trying to bring the wonder and excitement BACK to the world of digital reality. I love first person shooters was there at the beginnings of them (Wolfenstien 3D DOOM), but come on its been more than a decade, and if I see one more WWII game I'm gonna Blitzkrieg EA myself! Same for every Fantasy RPG, Futuristic RTS, Flight Sim, Civilization builder or bad Movie licensed mini game snooze fest! It's all been done to death with mindless expansion packs, sequels, countless clones of the same genre with very little evolution in aspects of function or ideas. Somehow the marketing research has lead away from inovation and fun to sexing it up by giving women impossible figures (Tomb Raider Everquest WoW etc.) and boosting graphics and framerate speeds so the games are just eye candy to a smaller group. The most fun I had with any games were at LAN party's where Teammates were exalted and foes d'issed in the same room and playing in house spilling beer on eachother. Nintendo seems to get it. Inclusion makes good times great!
