For gods sake please stop referring lakshmi mittal as an Indian. He himself has said many times that he is British. Instead of gloating on expat success lets look at the Indians who have reached the top. We have premjis, tatas, birlas, ambanis and it a growing list.
OK so Indians can gloat that one of thier own is one of the 'most richest' person in the world. However, that being the case, it begs the question: What has Mr Mittal, with all his billions, done for his poor, miserable conutrymen who are mired in filth and squalor? A big ZERO. And like the "Baron" he is, he spent a perverse amount, hundreds of millions of Rupees to marry off his daughter (with such pomp and grandeur that would have made the Bourbon Kings blush) in France no less, the very same country which so vociferously opposes his offer to acquire Arcelor, while hundreds of millions of his "countrymen" are starving and illiterate. So much for being the 'richest citizen in the land".
Excuse me!! L N Mittal is n longer an Indian Citizen!!! He is a British citizen. Can we please stop boasting of what is not ours!! We have much to boast and be proud of especially with an rising economy--but the first step to start is to let go off what is not ours, any longer...
According to the Forbes magazine annual survey, Microsoft Corporation Chairman Bill Gates with an estimated net worth of $50 billion retains his title as the richest man in the world for the twelfth consecutive year.
Officially declared Billionaires are 793 in the wolrd.
You are aware that corruption is at rampantly peak. All politicians could be much more than Billionaires and the number may run in 4 digits in our country.
I think that we indians not proud on richest indian what u call laxmipatti mittal, he is indian bibirth but, when we got money he sifted from india, this is same for indians, that mittal is man who is not found india for his stay and also nothing done any thing for india he is selffish person not more that this.
