No great benefit will come of it unless the govt opens up the economy to FDI in retail and real estate development - the influx of foreign companies in the real estate market will usher-in the much needed cutting-edge architecure and attendant technologies to make Indian cities the envy of the world, similar to that of Shanghai, Hong Kong, Soeul, Tokyo etc. But do the netas have the guts to bite the bullet and do the right thing?
