Why people lie to get jobs....
by Franklin Chun on Jul 30, 2006 06:35 PM

As a volunteer at Peninsula Works Daly City, a San Mateo county one-stop employment center, some clients are desperate for a job. There are bills to pay and sometimes life is hard and merciless.

Minimum wage just doesn't pay bills. You simply can't do it. As a single person, you can probably survive. As a family, even two minimum wage earners can't survive with children involved. All it takes is one emergency.

That's why some people will lie to get the job!

I think resumeing lying is a wide spread phenomenon. A significant percentage of people I came across lied about something or other in there resumes.

No human being wants to lie while seeking a job , but today's sceanrio is such that even if u lie loudly people hear and beleive it while truth spoken softly is lost in wilderness. And the Recruuiters while seeking paint a rosy picture of their companies. If Their companies are so rosy and job is so much fun why did someone leave in the first place. One seeking for conscience among seekers one must never forget te biggest liars the job givers .

REsume liars have a special personality
by humor4all on Jun 02, 2006 06:55 PM

Dear Sir

One can lie in their resume for earning their immediate recognition in the company which probably may take years for somebody with a true resume to do so, my view point is that "resume liars" and get an opportunity to know and see about each one of them in the family of the organization. Does'nt it give an better view for "resume liars" who not only lies in their resume alongwith gets an opportunity to see all the family members of his/her company?
