hai Naveen. The most important thing you must do to get into ISB is that you must have a score of atleast 700 in GMAT.Atleast two years of working experience is needed too. There will be a great competition.Fees is around 15 lakhs.
Take this info. only as informative.I too got this info. from a coloumn on education in some magazine.I am not quite sure of its reliability, but the info. is surely helpful in giving a primary information of the admission process.

Make it affordable for General Indian Students
by AMARESH on Jul 05, 2006 07:02 PM

I think the cost is biggest hurdle. If authorities can really look into the matter, it can attract best talents.

focus should be on students having caste certificate too.
by vikram on Jul 05, 2006 02:17 AM  | Hide replies

Have 50% reservation here, and I hope ISB figures out in the global top 50 atleast.

dear vikram.
I think reservations are much unnecessary at graduate level. If reservations are introduced they may surely be helpful to some candidates but you must know that there are many rightful ones who go down.If the non introduction of reservations are disadvantageous to 10,there are 100 benefitting out of it.It may be true that the reservations are beneficial to poor, but do you really feel the poor are making any benefit out of them?I surely answer 'no'.the reserved sests are being taken up by people who aren't poor that belong to the caste of the poor.this is what happening and I dont expect any one to support caste reservations if this were the case everywhere.instead do give support for reservations that are based on financial status.these sort of reservations exactly serve the purpose of supporting poor, the real idea behind the introduction of reservations.hope I could convince you.always keep your focus on how to get yourself great but not on how to get a seat in good institutes.hope you could notice the difference.getting seat in a prestigious institution is not enough, you must get to the standards.never take a chance of getting a seat anywhere based on reservations.it is your self effort that makes you stand distinct.I extend you my best wishes.
Bye.

Could something be done about the fees?
by R K Iyer on Jul 04, 2006 11:36 AM

The current course fees for the 1 year post graduate program at ISB comes to Rs. 14 lakhs. Costs of living not included. Everything out together might come to around Rs. 16 lakhs. Maybe if they could do something to reduce that, it would indeed be good, in addition to the good they are already doing in the education of business.
