He is the guy, whose success left everyone far behind, yet he maintained his simplicity & down-to-earth approach; and when time came, he gave off a major chunk of his wealth in donation...WOW
Everyone needs to learn from him... he earned lots of money... but he never let money control him.. when time came.. he was willing to sacrifice his wealth for the down-trodden... how many people, incl millionaires, billionares or ordinary people can do that??
Being an investor, I really like his investment theories which seem so simple & commonsense, than what is preached by the so-called 'experts'.

We had some people (Harshad Mehta, Shah etc)making it to the top in terms of earning money in stock markets but alas they were found to be following the wrong paths and got arrested.Till date I do not know any Indian making it to the top or near to Warren Buffet applying his intelligence to earn in tne stock market. That slot is still empty!
Couple of weeks before I have seen this program on CNBC...This article is truely translated from the TV program...but I appreciate Rediff for bringin it to the notice of many...Warren is the most savvy investor and everyone should now his secrets of success
I have read this article of Warren Buffet a Industrialist, it is really a good thing that a person is holding billions of property & he is living as usual as he was staying before 48 years back.
It is a inspiration to young youth, that they should be like this only.
If the young youth & the people will have this type thought, it will be good to our nation to get progress in the industries or in any field which they belongs to.

i too have recently read this article in one of the leading kannada papers online.......both reflect the same subject without any additions or deletions.........wonder where this is coming up........anyway worth reading it
What a Man! It is not important how Buffet made his Billions ; what is important is how He disposed it US$31bn to Bill& Melinda Gates Foundation. How many of our so called Indian Billionaires have the cheek to do so? They look to be so small compared to Buffet.
