I wonder what caste this person belongs to

I am sure he does not belong to any backward category and probably belongs to a forward category. If he were an SC, then most politicians would have immediately made a big show of helping him and the media would have portrayed the recovery of loans from him as an act of cruelty meted out by forward castes on the backward castes and he would have got away without paying back any of his loans.

The kind of grit & determination subramani has shown is great,anybody under such difficult circumstances would have succumbed to pressure & probably commit suicide.
