Coke drinks
by Vijay Rajan on Aug 13, 2006 01:12 PM

Coke- Well, so much problems have surfaced over coke for long. I beleive there should be stringent quality control and assurance for all the batches that is manufactured and despatched to various places. As well as the government should take a stock of the hygenic conditions of the site fromwhere it is manufactured. Other thing is spurious and fake pepsis which is pumped into the market which is also one reason for creating morbidities among different population. It can only be overcome if government hunt down on the fake manufacturers.

Where are we going? have we come to such a situation that you have to provide a condom free with a cola? try free vending machines instead! We all are scared of HIV-AIDS but are you all out to get us scared of cola equally?

This amount to Gross negligence and I am happy that the courts have taken the right steps in penalizing the company. I hope the media covers this incident across the country and assist in making the consumer aware ofincidence.

In response to Pepsi Fined for condom in bottle
by anniyan on Apr 27, 2006 07:55 AM

I am very amused by the final verdict of the consumer court in relation to this incident. If the same case would have happened in the western world,I bet the Pepsi would have lost their license to sell.I think such gross negligence should be treated with even more harsh punishment.
Readers what do you think with the court\'s verdict?Don\'t you think more severe punishment should have been given to Pepsi(whether or not such an incident is isolated)

pepsi has to own up the mistake and take the bottler to task
by rayker on Apr 27, 2006 12:00 AM

the bottling plants often have minds of thier own with lax quality controls. why defend yourselves, while they can easily take the blame and be done with it honourably ? it smacks of arrogance on the part of pepsi to disown it to cheap duplicates. they can easily prove it with lab tests whether it was an original or a counterfeit! anyways - it was nothing but colored, carbonated sweet water, also contaminated. i hope people can switch over to the healthier alternatives such as fruit juisces that pepsi might have to offer!
