Economic promoting bodies CII and FICCI, are totally useless. They make a few suggestion on an annual basis and a few post budget comments. It would be better if on a more frequent basis they make public their suggestions and various problems. For example, IFCI a listed financial instittuion set up for this purpose to promote industry is reporting huge losses in its books mainly due to bad loans. And you look the Management team of IFCI there are many reputed executives including IIM professor. Therefore, It is the role of CII to look into this and identify what is reaons why companies not able to fulfil their obejctives.
