He was a major donor for our hospital in Visakhapatnam rehabilitating polio victims. Dr. Adinarayana Rao and his team convey their condolences to the family. May his soul rest in peace.

I was overwhelmed by reading the article. A true diamond has departed from a great nation and left innumerable lessons to learn for the rest of the fellowmen.

I felt really bad for not being aware about the person when he was living.

My dear fellow country men,

Please understand Mafatlal Mohanlal Raichand Mehta simple and sensitive actions.

1. Appreciate the "uknown" person or
2. Buy a product or service "from" him or
3. Share/offer your dinner with/to him.

Finally "no sarcasm or hypocrisy please"

Dear Sir,
Heart felt sympathy to the bereaved family, may God give them strength to bear this sudden loss.
It is from this article I learn alot and believe in all that Mafat Kaka has done.
It is in doing and being silent.
Giving a helping hand when needed is a great deed.
Let us hope many people learn the good things from this article.
If people follow and practice his words, Our India can be great and a better country to live in.
Mafat Kaka will definitely be remembered in many years to come.
Give him full credit for all he has achieved and passed on to his family.
Sincere wishes.
V.I. Rajah and family

Its Pity That no one knows this gentleman
by ismail on Sep 14, 2005 07:36 AM

I am hearing this persons name first time.

Its pity that the media writes article about this kind of persons only when he dies.

He has done so much to people may be greater than the 99% percent corrupt polticians and celebrties.

God rest his soul in peace.

Ismail

Very Good Report.
by Akshay Kumar on Sep 14, 2005 04:42 AM

Its is a good find I never heard of that name before thanks to you puting such report..a great soul departed us...but his life would inspire many I think.
It is sad that many such great souls rise and fall without notice..It is incredible that he has denoted over Rs 100 crores...I think even if he had not prefered any returns for that the Indian Government should regonize his deeds and would have awarded. Has he been awarded...?if Not It is a shame...
Anyways Let his life inspire many others and his sons continue the acts in future.
