Gowda is a Big Buffalo sitting on the mid of the road and doing nothing
by Siddharth on Jan 22, 2006 09:21 PM

What does Mr.Gowda think of himself.. i guess IT industry has done a lot to put Bangalore on the world map. It industry has created a lot of income for the Bangalore residents .... just imagine the rate of the property (rent rs 12k for a shit of a house) and nuisance of the auto's who demand anything any time....and people pay for it... its time that mr.gowda understands that he is nothing but a Big Buffalo sitting on the mid of the road and doing nothing on the road of development for bangalore or IT Industries may slowly and gradually look for the other places... for example Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgoan where do not find these kind of Dumb Buffaloes....!!!!

One more question: what has he done for the state or country?
by Rahul on Nov 16, 2005 09:46 PM

i do not have answer for Mr Gowda's question but one thing i know straight away ...this man is nothing then an ordinary bumpkin guy who is making foolish comment on Mr Murthy...who undoubtely holds special and unique stature in country's advancements..

It is pitty to regard Mr gowda as the former PM of INDIA...India is really unfortunate that it had such a foolish fellow as PM in our history...

Hah!

Gowda has proved what kind of a background he is from, one who can only resort to comments like "what is the contribution of IT?"etc. The interview clearly shows that he comes across as a bhangi who knows nothing other than his own kachra picking territory.Even a dog is faithful to the hand that feeds it. But this man is so shameless, he amassed thousands of acres of agricultural land when in power and devised ways of converting that land. Was he bothered about farmers, agricultural development etc?No way! He depended on these very IT firms to buy this land from him and make him filthy rich. And this shameless nobody must be thrown out by the people for even daring to compare Mr. Murthy with anyone else. Many IT cos try to huddle up as many employees possible in small little bldgs. And for anyone who compares or questions Mr. Muthy's contribution to IT, well, people like Azim Premji etc are only bothered abt maintaining their "richest Indian" status and amassing wealth. If they care about the country and employees, dare to have a vision like Murthy, distribute the wealth thru ESOPS? But they don't have the balls! They shouldn't dream of being mentioned at the same level as Mr.Murthy

by Victoria on Nov 08, 2005 04:13 PM

The interview with former PM was like cartoon times or leisure published in a newspaper. Politician is giving comments about an hard cum smart worker which cannot be accepted. Anyhow it is his views and as an Indian all can express their views. Allow it. Quiet Interesting topic, let it go.......

The outbursts of the former PM
by Suresh on Oct 29, 2005 05:17 PM

It appears that the former P.M. is nursing a an undue irritation against Infosys. The I.T. industry cannot be expected to create jobs directly to millions of people. The indirect benefits that flow from the industry has to be properly harnessed by the government to provide employment opportunities. Mr. Gowda - I don't know why - is so much miffed even at the very mention of the name of Mr. Narayana murthy who no doubt has created and multiplied the wealth this country by all ehtical means.

He thinks he is super man in his state.

IT contributing Nothing
by MaJor H.K.Rangachar(Retd) on Oct 29, 2005 12:45 PM

Firstly Why the Journalists want to waste their time in interviewing DEVEGOWDA?
If the media wants to prove that on all counts he is wrong,His wholepolitical Carrers is there.
As One person has commented,He is a Manninamaga & he has soil in his mind allways, because his grey matter is filled with literally Mannu.
There was a joke in the media, when Mushraff was told in addition to Kashmir,India he shd take LALLU YADAV,Mushraff refused both.So A Simillar offer shd be made to him, indicating that along with Kashmir He has to accept Lallu,s elder Brother Gowda,I am sure that Mush will also decline the gift of Kashmir.bcz Gowda will stall development in Pak
Before Asking what IT has done done to INDIA,Gowda must first answer what he has done to himself & his Family, next to Karnataka. It is absolutely clear he may not hv words.Eighter he will go to sleep or will shout at the Poor Journalist.
Infrastructure:Firstly Gowda & his puppet Dharamsing did not even bother to maintain the improved Infrastructure handed over by Krishna. Now he is talking what was the state of infrstructure then.Yes even to his present house there was no road,Krishna ensured road was relaid .Gowda listening

You cracked it
by Sunil Nandipati on Oct 29, 2005 09:30 AM

Mahesh, appreciate your talent of making a PM go nuts!!!

Well its true that ex PM is having a grudge over the Infy Mentor Murthy for becoming famous. But the latter deserves that which the former needs to understand.

I hope Mr Murthy doesn't end up in Indian Politics if the ex PM makes more hell of this issue.

Lets wait and see.

Stop this guys ...

Seems like our Ex-PM is going on this issue as a child goes on for toys.

Dear politicians, if you can't contribute towards the growth of Country, then atleast don't become a hurdle in between. For GOD sake and for peoples in country, please keep your mouth shut and be away from the way of growth.

No one is saying any one company has done all IT growth single handadly, but atleast don't spoil the professional enviornment of IT industry. Let them concentrate of business and keep our growth rate high. End of the day, it's going to help all of us.

(BTW, I don't think, company like Infosys will take any disadvantage from land or any other government property, they have lot of other things to think about. Coz such stupid issues won't take them to higher heights in international market where they are now.
