Moblogging

its such a shame., we indians are the power house for global software production and we are aeons behind in terms of products developed in our own backyard. Like the 6th generation mobile telephony in Japan.

Like moblog mentioned in this article, which is already a raging phenomenon in the West, there's another kind of mobile blogging that has kicked off a long time ago in Japan. Although it works on similar principles, it is a whole lot more in content.

Short stories are written on a web-page which is in turn hosted by a cellular company and routed through their services to attract a lot of readers., once the readership hits a peak, the story takes the avatar of our own never-ending mega serials raking in the moolah for both the company and the author.
Whats more, the author gets instant review from his readers in the form of SMS' giving him an enormous impetus in knowing his reader's reactions and thus being able to alter the story line!

A Jap guy named Yoshi is already what Ekta Kapoor is to our TV, to their mobile media! His super hit "Young Love" has made him a millionaire many times over and is made into a movie and a comic strip adaptation which is also a big hit!!
