I used to love rediff's features but increasingly, I find them poorly written and edited, and worse still, thinly disguised plug jobs for the persons or companies being profiled. This series is a case in point: what could have been a smart series on interesting TV commercials reads like a press release from Ze TV. Surely, it doesn't take much to be an honest journalist and have some objectivity in the way these aricles are written. Unless rediff has started a medianet-type venture as well. In which case, maybe the readers needs to be told that.
