tcs's fake values
by rishi gavaskar on Jan 15, 2009 05:07 PM

tcs always talk about values but it's
biggest training (trivandrum) centre is full of
corruption some people (LIKE HR HEAD Brinda R) think that they are god, they can take tell anything to their employees specially new trainee even about their personal life and parents, they do partiality to north indians without any hesitation, specially to BIHARIS if MR. CEO will look to the matter he will certainly find it. It's a wake-up call to those who use to talk about values of TATA.

indian idiot
they all sound the same!
by indian idiot on Jun 23, 2005 09:36 AM

i guess this interview could be put for any other "IT" company in india.

some of my fave jokes in this interview are:->

TCS is a solutions organisation, not a resourcing organisation, with the right engineering attributes.....yeah and i am the queen of england

The second dimension is the nature and type of projects that challenge young minds, engaging them intellectually to contribute to the well being of a project...using ONLY word and excel .

Our attrition rate for last year was 8 per cent, compared to Nasscom's average for the top nine companies of 15 per cent...all other companies say the same thing where as in reality i think its as high as 20%

In order to differentiate, the next wave is going to be about how much of innovation there is in the output -- in R&D, tools, processes, methodology and business models...ha ha! we indians dont do that remember!

We address it through innovation in R&D at our corporate R&D centre... yeah we have hired a few PhDs and the rest...well the less said the better. Their RnD works includes learning new technologies that you can use to market yurself.

Second, we have localised the workforce enormously.
yeah..cheap labours always good

Change the title ''TCS:No Wage increase''
by Ramesh on Jun 22, 2005 11:56 AM

Interview sounds good, but doesnt make sense in today's job market. Whatever is reflected are way TCSz management looks at wage increase & Ramadorai's comments on wage increase not being automatic are rubbish. Take an interview of the top head hunters in India, they can give u the actual pulse of today's job market...
