IF the Govt. has the guts, then they should tax the rich farmers. These politicos have no problem in spending spending for useless stuff and they expect middle-class India to pay more on taxes. Even now, nearly 80% of taxes paid are by a section of 45-55 % of people. I never hear of politicos paying taxes and still they are not charged.
The persons who have been quoted in the article have been funded by the govt. in some way or the other and they are wise enough to know that they cannot bug the govt in any way. Can we know how much they earn and how much tax is paid truthfully ???
