From reading this I can gauge how much currupt, dishonest and self-centered this man Dhirubai was.
His only interest was wealth, he even could think that India should part with Kasmir just because of his business interst in Pakistan.
This guy stincks maan.......
He has so mcu wealth but what did he do for Indian society or for humanity. Only threw cash at dirty politicians and kept contacts with them for self-gains. Shame on you Ambanis...

Hope his progeny haven't inherited his thinking.

The following opinion is based on the assumption that the interviewee is speaking the truth.... Dhirubhai Ambani's outlook and views were always oriented by money and opportunity to grow RIL, nothing more. So, if RIL gets to access Pakistan market, well.. let Pakistan have what it wants! As if our nation was a piece of cake..whosoever wants a piece of it can have it ! Dhirubhai Ambani's views on Pakistan and Kashmir and resolution of boundary disputes was very dangerous. Classic Case of Corporate deciding the ethos and the Geography of the entire nation, in order to suit itself. Surely Dhirubhai fought a lot to defend RIL's interests, guess India doesn't have the same right. While our politicans are scum of the earth, at least they don't share Dhirubhai's "vision" of Buying Peace through surrender of Sovereign rights. Had Dhirubhai's family lost a dozen men while defending the nation's honor, such views wouldn't have existed. One just hopes that his progeny haven't inherited his convulted and rank opportunistic view on certain things like India's sovereign rights and territorial integrity !

I liked this article very much. This is a very motivational article which talks about the greatest and the biggest industrialist of india, Dhirubhai Ambani. I am a continuous user of rediff not only for e-mail but for regular updates of news. Especially, I like the business news offered by rediff.com. Thank You.
