its nice to hear.... but realty suggests its not that easy... its better to think about wide roads,no traffic jams before.bombay stands nowhere compared to other metros in asia like hongkong,singpore,dubai... what is my opinion is build another city with wide roads,clean water,pollution free and 24 hour power supply.and what about saftey?
What a joke! Too much govt control and interference and total lack of enforcement of the laws have created a sqaulid, filthy, blighted hell-hole of a slum called Mumbai. Not only are infrastructure inadequate to non-existent, but those existing are totally obsolete and dilapidated. Mumbai, like all Indian cities need to have thier own elected mayors and councillors, primarily accountable to the cities' denizens rather than state politicians controlling things - urgent need for devolution of power.
