I think reaching to heighest position in corporate ladder by outshining competition is really matter of pride for we all indians... It takes a great deal to be on the top of much hyped " all- men " world and especially when indian women is breaking the myth we all get an some good reasons to appreciate the unexplored power lying within ....
We tend to forget the contribution from the IIMs with our obsession with the IITs.
Not that it's the institute that you owe your success to, it's always individual capability. But then, you've got to admit that the institute managed to recognize that you had talent :)
