I am a fresh doctorate in Pharamcology and Toxicology. It is good to see that Indian Pharma companies are paying such a good salaries. I feel that our research and development should improve to identify new chemical entities for the development of man kind.
I have worked with many pharmaceutical company for around 14 years and I feel in middle management drugs firms do not give good package.So I want to quit this industry.But I can do miracles if heavily paid by companies.I am from Orissa.
I do not think so an executive with three years of experience would get 46 lakhs per annum in India.No top class company in India is paying currently like this.Even if the company increases maxium up to 12-lakhs per annum for Managerial positions atleast.You www.rediff.com check your reported data. I agree it is possible in US based companies in US they get US$9-10K per month.My close juniors are working with two top class compnies in US,[Glaxo smithkline and Pfizer]. Thank you for your too much apetizing article for pharmaceutical research executives in pharma industry in India.But that is a dream and it is not actually real. I agree pharma industry professionals are paid high equally like soft ware professionals in India these days.
As far as I know no drug firm in India offers to a 3 yr experienced research executive s a salry of around 4 laks per month as mentioned in the article. I think it should read as 4 lakhs per annum
