I gather from this article that there's been an improvement in service levels over the course of the last few year(s) at ICICI Bank and I can tell you that it isn't true. I took a house loan over a year ago from ICICI and to date rue that decision and more recently i changed jobs and the new company has a Salary Account with ICICI again. The process of opening the account was pretty harrowing in the first place and to top it, my very first cheque deposit with them has now taken over 2 weeks to show since they seem to have misplaced the cheque or something. I truly am shocked at how such things can happen in today's times and would like to end by saying that ICICI will surely not have me as a willing customer ever in the future - unless of course I have any future employers banking with them again!
This is all publicity stunt, five S is all humbug. I have filed a claim on my Credit Card from ICICI Bank in the month of June 2004 and it is still being "investigated".Wonder when they will clean this up for all their efficiency claim, whenever you call customer care nobody has a clear answer and keep passing the buck around. So much for efficiency.
