Well, Rather than politizing issues related to economy, we should rather first have a "birds eye view" of what needs to be done. It doesnt make sense attributing all anomalies towards the NDA or BJP in particular. The infrastructure or economic situation we have now is bcoz of both idealogies.
And again Highways alone doesnt paints a goverments performance as rosy. I dont understand one thing at all in Indian politcs and Administration- Leaders are so good in engineering new ideas and philosophies at a drop of a hat but why arent they good managers to complete what they start? More than any one else they need to be given some of the Management lessons of Dr C.K Prahlad and motivational classes of Dale Carnegie
I fail to understand that such a billiant Economist has overlooked the good infrastructure put in place by outgoing Govt in Highway Project-GQ4 where equally brilliant and pragmatic Jairam Ramesh openly acknowledged without politics coming in the way.
