The automatic time bound promotions of IAS officers must go and atleast some accountability and responsibility must be brought into this service and their total number must be cut by atleast 50% as one of the biggest problems in India is excessive and huge bureaucratisation in each and every field including science and engineering. Under no circumstances a bureaucrat should head an organisation containing atleast 25% of it's officers as engineers, technocrats and scientists.
Dear sir, While compiling this important information ,I find that you have missed many other names of the secretary level officers.Particularly I know some members of Telecom commission ,who are Ex-Officio secretaries to Govt. of India are retiring in this calender year.Likewise in other similar deptts. other senior level officers may also be retiring.
