help inside

We have technology advances in IT but we don't use it for the development inside of india. we help out other countries with millions of dollars but we forget the needs and requirements of our country. recently we inked a contract in spending 1 bn for a warship, its is for our proctection and survival, but what is survival if people cannot have their basic necessities , we cannot eat a ship to live. Water is a scarcity in some places , we never learn from china to help our people first, as they say we have to remove the log in our eyes before we can remove a small piece of wood from another persons eyes. what people get is just words and mere action for their basic needs. We try to eradicate polio with an injection , when we cannot fight the root of other diseases still prevailing because of lack of good health from bad conditions in drinking water or washing. the best thing for us is still to start at the foundation of a building rather than applying new paint to a damaged building.

Modern gods are failing.........

The modern gods are failing all the time ever since 1947...till date. Though India is making phenomenal strides in many ways, we still lack the foresite to spruce up our basic infrastructure, without which the economic divide can only increase.

We have the best of mobile phone networks but not roads that would measure upto international standards

We have satellites but if you travel through the state transport buses u'll understand what I'm talking of. If on the same routes the private sector is as competitive with buses in an excellent condition, all it would take is a determined chief on state transport to do the same.

We have the best of legal systems but where is the implementation ?

We have highly capable beauracrats, policemen, state & central government executives, but where are we nurturing that rich talent base ?

We have huge natural resources but where is the efficient use ( rather than exploitation ) of the same.

Two states which are seeing some progress in these directions are Andhra Pradesh and Goa. They too have a long way to go and so lets hope they reach there ! more importantly lets pray that other states are able to emulate the same.

VP.
