I was amused to see Getz as COY (Car Of Year). Though It smells Fishy inside. Plasticy finish inside in this range was shocking to me, ok ok kind of a car.
Didnt expected so much low quality finish in Getz atleast.
If these guys keep giving away COY awards then its a big waste, hope someone's pondering.
Hi, First of all I have to tell tht every one should laugh at this type of ratings and ranking mehtodology and comparisons. I cant stop laughing at this foolish Indian methodology of comparison. See I also work sometimes over here (USA) on rankings. Here are some points tht u have to consider while Ranking, 1) Choose any car and compare it with tha same class or type and of same fuel intake and make sure not to mix up all the cars (the first mistake u have done) 2) Select all newly released cars/SUVs/MUVs though they are extended versions or some other. U cant say tht they r purely the same as previous versions and no company is at mad to release the same car with some extensions like hatchbacks, they will make some modifications.(this is the second mistake tht u have done) 3) I too agree with previous messages, why haven't u include Indigo Marina, it a beautiful car as far as i know and it might have stolen ur hearts if u test drove it.(Plz never under estimate an Indian Company)
I hope there are some strong High level management discrepencies on evaluating and comin up with a final decision.(BTW How much did Hyundai paid for u to select their car to be the best.. :-))
I think Tata Indigo Marina shld have been the car of the year. Its the most practical car, economical, easy to use & maintain also looks good. Getz is atall not value for money.
This is ridiculous that Tata Indigo Marina has not featured here. I believe, this is a simple example of how Giant MNC's manage to corrupt such surveys of news magazines
