Most of the vehicular pollution in Indian cities and towns is chiefly on account of adulteration of petrol and diesel with cheap oils and waste condemned oils. Unless and until this is checked ruthlessly air pollution in urban India is not going to improve much in the near future. And most of the urban pollution in India today is due to explosive growth in automobile population and human population.
