Govt. is wasting its time on Reliance
by kumar on Sep 27, 2003 12:52 PM  | Hide replies

It is ample true that all regulators/bodies (TDSAT, TRAI, DoT, and TEC) are categorically saying Reliance is violating norms and the actual spirit of license conditions.

If Reliance feels, they are legal in offering multiple subscriptions - why Tata or BSNL did not offer till now? Are all these Cell firms which paid millions are fools?

All these regulators/bodies/govt. is wasting their time, confusing consumers, and allowing companies like Reliance to do whatever they want in the name of "3 million consumers..".

If govt finds Reliance is violating, the same has to be reported to it, do what is needed for all sections of telecom industry - my even ban the companies who are offering illegal services. Reliance never "straight" in its deals even with consumers and consumers are also felt they are cheated, misrepresented/flowerly represented the facts.

It is high time that the Indian Govt. should act sternly and fairly, unlike "tailor making laws and rules" for some handful of companies. We are losing confidence on Govt. - especially when India is rated high in corruption, and way below in corporate governance practices.

Hey! Kumar saheb, this is not corporate governance ! This is politics in its hundred percent purity saab !
Remember ? we are having elections next year. So, everybody has to make good (!) preparations for that.

These are all preparations, Sir.

Please do not worry;

everything is going to be alright.

Take it easy.

Meaningful and fruitful negotiations could be afforded and indulged into with billionaires.

Who will waste time on simpletons like kumar and chanakya making a few fuming key strokes on the BB ?

This is the problem with the people of Bharat Varsha. Even after identifying what is ailing them, they hardly resort to the right medicine. And safed topi knows this weakness of the crores.

Must we be divided on everything ??????
by chanakya on Sep 27, 2003 11:39 AM

No doubt it is an NDA structure and all centrifugal forces have a democratic right to voice their opinions. But then there is a national interest above everything. Why could our Ministers not come to a consensus when an issue is involving national interests.

If we cannnto come to a consensus on a petty issue like this, what are we going to do when it comes to national secrutiy ??
