As a theory all are same and equal before the law of land. But in practice it is next to impossible to see it happening. The burning example of what I say could be seen even in this particular case where Ambanis would ultimately not appear before the Court and the case would be dropped quitely in their favour. This is what has been happening in free India since decades now. Examples are very many. Before such industrialists, the legislation or judiciary both are quite helpless. In fact the parallel government is being run by such influential industrialists in our country.
